"Since the early 1990's, I have worked with Lexus, sponsoring golf tournaments in conjunction with local charities all over the country and endlessly searching for that "perfect" mixture of personality, golf course condition, location, price, management and staff and commitment to excellence. This past September, we found it at Falcon Lakes Golf Club. Owner Marty Streiff and his staff helped us raise thousands of dollars to benefit the Touched By Cancer Foundation during a full day of golf and poker. "We always get rave reviews from the players in our tournament, that, from the very second they drive into the parking lot and are met by a Falcon Lakes staff member who unloads their clubs, to the course itself which is a nice, well kept, layout, but not too hard for the average duffer, topped off by a nice food spread at the end. Even with 100 players, the golf portion normally only takes 4 1/2 hours, which the true golfers enjoy. Most of our players play in several scramble events around the KC area each year, and in the days after our event, we get numerous phone calls telling us they enjoy ours more than any of the others for all the above reasons."
