The weather this spring has had its ups and downs. We have had 90 degree weather followed by light frost a few days later. The zoysia grass still does not know what to do. It has comeout of winter dormancy only to be shocked by frosty mornings and dry weather. These past few weeks have been very dry, looks like today we are going to get some much needed rain.
This week we will start topdressing and rolling greens since the aerification holes have healed up nicely. The crew has been busy keeping up with mowing, watering and also working on other course projects. This past week we installed a new water fountain in the main pond and we are working on constructing a new tee box on hole 8. The tee box will add a different yardage and more tee space for the white and blue blocks.
